Harbourside Complex is one of CADC’s most successful endeavors. Located on the Charlottetown waterfront, the complex, is a unique blend of residential and commercial properties. Constructed in the late 1970’s, eight buildings located on top of a central underground parking garage, comprise the overall complex. The complex contains approximately 104,000 square feet of commercial space which is highly sought after and remains at 100% occupancy. The complex is home to the PEI Supreme Court, located in the Sir Davies Law Courts Building, the PEI Provincial Courts in the Kelly Building, and many other tenants in the various buildings. The complex also features one of Prince Edwards Island’s most popular restaurants, the Merchantman Pub, located in the historic Carvell Building.

Residential space at the Harbourside Complex also boasts an extremely low vacancy rate, it consists of 91 apartment units – 19 bachelor units, 55 one-bedroom units, 15 two-bedroom units, and 2 three-bedroom units.

General Information

Tenant storage lockers are located on the parking garage level at the end of the corridor adjacent to Harbourside 2 (Pickard Rankin) entrance. Check the map on the door to locate your locker.

Laundry facilities are located on the second floor of Harbourside 1 (Breken/Yates), adjacent to the common area deck by the elevator and on the second and third floors of Harbourside 2 by the stairs. The washers and dryers are operated by tokens. The tokens may be purchased in the CADC main office individually or in packets of $5, $10, or $20.

Garbage is deposited in the designated bins on the parking garage level adjacent to the entrances to Harbourside 1 and 2. As of July 1, 2002, all tenants are required to sort their waste into compost, recyclables, and garbage as per the guidelines set forth by the Island Waste Management Commission. Sorting guides are available at the main office.

Rent and parking charges are payable in the CADC main office by cash, cheque, postdated cheque, or by a pre-approved debit directly from your bank account. 

The 24 hour emergency number ,for Harbourside tenants, is (902) 894-3881. This number is to be used for after hours or weekend emergencies only. For all after hour’s problems or repair requests which are not an emergency, please call the office during normal business hours.

Parking is available for residential guests on the Harbourside Access Road outside the main entrances to Harbourside 1 and 2. This parking is for residential guests only. Due to the limited availability of parking around the complex, all residents who need parking are required to purchase a space in the parking garage. If you have a guest who will be using the guest parking area for more than 48 hours, please inform the office during normal office hours.
