The HMCS Queen Charlotte Armories boardwalk runs from the corner of Weymouth and Water Street, along the water behind the Armories and the Friendly Pharmacy, and back up to meet Water Street Parkway. This section of the boardwalk is .43km long, bringing the total Charlottetown water front walk to 4.6 km. The arrangements to build this boardwalk were written into the contract when the Navy purchased the land for the new Armories building. CADC partnered with the HMCS Queen Charlotte Armories to build the boardwalk with WM&M, a local company, doing the construction. CADC completed the contract drawings and the Armories financed the project. This section of boardwalk cost approximately $150,000.
